We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated neuro-hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Central Florida. As a neuro-hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Manage and evaluate inpatient neurological patients, ensuring timely and effective treatment plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on therapeutic principles and AHA Stroke Management Patient Care Guidelines
- Communicate effectively with physicians, management, staff, patients, and families to ensure coordinated and cohesive execution of quality patient care
- Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to coordinate treatment plans, patient concerns, and discharge planning
- Participate in team conferences and provide information relating to therapeutic concerns in a clear and concise manner
- Board Certification/Eligibility through the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology
- Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
- DEA License required or ability to obtain
- Ability to collaborate closely with attending hospitalists and ED team
- Available to work 7 on 7 off with a minimum of 182 shifts per year
- Strong communication skills
- Team player mentality
