About the Role

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Consultant/Psychologist/LCSW to provide expert behavioral intervention strategies for public school students in New Jersey. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational environment by utilizing effective behavioral strategies to address student behaviors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home and school-based consultation services to support students and teachers.
  • Develop and implement behavioral support and therapy plans to promote positive student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to design and implement behavior intervention plans.
  • Facilitate team meetings to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Supervise students to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide consultation to school personnel.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Successful experience with Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) professional certificate or National School Psychologist Certificate.
  • NJ DOE certification.
  • New Jersey licensure requirements.
  • Experience working with teachers, students, and parents.
