Job Opportunity: Clinical Psychologist - Testing and Assessment

Cook Counseling and Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a Clinical Psychologist - Testing and Assessment Expert, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, administer and interpret psychological tests, and assess individuals across the lifespan.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological evaluations using a range of assessment tools and techniques.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests to assess cognitive abilities, personality traits, and emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to integrate test results with broader treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and findings.
  • Provide clear and concise reports to clients, their families, and referring professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Extensive experience and expertise in psychological testing and assessment, with an emphasis on Autism evaluation across the lifespan.
  • Proficiency in administering and interpreting a variety of assessment tools.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based assessment practices and familiarity with relevant diagnostic criteria.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to assessment and therapy.

Position Details:

  • This is a hybrid position, combining telehealth and in-office sessions.
  • As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and workload.
  • There are no visit minimums, allowing you to provide thorough and focused care to each client.
