Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

  • Perform terminations up to 1500V ac and dc.
  • Read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

  • Install underground cabling and conduits.
  • Run basic electrical test equipment.
  • Train and mentor helpers as needed.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical evaluation and drug/alcohol screen.
  • Complete a New Hire Orientation Quiz.
  • Meet job site safety requirements as specified by the client.
  • Comply with company's drug and alcohol abuse policy.
  • Pass a physical examination as required by the company.
  • Perform tasks that require climbing, balancing, and working at elevated heights.
  • Perform tasks that require stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, or working in confined spaces.
  • Carry tools and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Work extended hours on uneven surfaces.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • One to four years of experience in electrical work.
  • Michigan Electrician Certified License.
