Lead Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair grinding and machining equipment
  • Develop and implement repair plans, including decisions on repairing or replacing parts and components
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to improve equipment and manufacturing methods
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams
  • Interface with other departments to address and resolve technical issues
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes and principles
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with operation and repair of CNC equipment, including servo motors, gearboxes, ball screws, and linear bearings
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with operation and repair of hydraulics, hydraulic cylinders, bearings, seals, and mechanical components
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical systems and controls used in industrial applications
  • Experience working on rolling mill equipment, including mills, rolls, and mill drive components
  • Strong maintenance background and experience in product and process failure analysis
  • Understanding of world-class manufacturing techniques, such as lean manufacturing, FMEA, RCM, SPC, and TQM
