Lead Janitor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Janitor - Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to individuals with significant disabilities, enabling them to develop work skills and enhance their ability to communicate with customers in a workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain facilities, including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevator banks, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Operate power equipment, such as two-stage snowblowers, and perform tasks during inclement weather.
• Assist the Janitorial Supervisor in the overall direction, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of cleaning crews.
• Train employees on how to do assigned work and in using equipment and supplies appropriately.
• Address complaints and resolve problems of employees and customers.
