Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect Production Lines: Conduct regular inspections of our production lines to ensure that products meet all quality and safety standards.
- Inspect Incoming Materials: Inspect incoming materials to ensure that they meet all quality and supplier requirements.
- Complete Paperwork: Fill out and complete all necessary paperwork and forms related to quality assurance.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules, and report any potential safety hazards to management.
- Ensure a Clean and Organized Work Area: Ensure that the work area is clean and organized according to 5S standards.
- Fluency in English: Must be fluent in English and have excellent verbal, written, math, and computer skills.
- QA Knowledge: Must be able to read and understand QA drawings and instructions and have a basic knowledge of relevant plant documentation.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and move about the plant for the entire shift, lift 50 pounds, and move and handle material.
- Team Player: Must be able to work independently and be a highly motivated team player.
- Flexibility: Must be flexible with work hours and shifts and assist other departments as required.
This is a union position that pays $17.50/hour. RTC is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to a policy of non-discrimination in employment.
