Healthcare Professional for Behavioral Health

This position is designed to provide compassionate, patient-focused care to adults with mental health needs. A Registered Nurse (RN) at Avera's Behavioral Health Adult C Unit will work in a structured, therapeutic environment where patients learn to understand their diagnosis, develop a Crisis Response Plan, use healthy coping skills and set and complete goals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in an energizing team environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create and deliver treatment plans tailored to patients experiencing anxiety, depression, and personality disorders.
- Provide critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure effective patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid RN licensure in the State of South Dakota or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure.
- A strong passion for helping patients with Anxiety, Depression, and Personality Disorders and Suicidal behavior.
- Experience working with the adult population and a willingness to work in a challenging care environment that requires critical thinking.
Avera offers a competitive salary range of $32.00 - $46.50 per hour, along with various benefits including:
- A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 available for eligible applicants.
- An hourly shift differential available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights.
