Role Responsibilities

The Project Manager for the ePMO is accountable for overseeing a range of projects linked to Smart Manufacturing principles, IIoT initiatives, Industrial Controls, Automation technologies, and Systems Integration processes. Project Managers at Grantek engage directly with clients, leveraging their technical expertise to design solutions, organize information, lead engineering teams, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Deliverables

  • Develop and assess proposals for medium to large-scale projects with ambiguous scopes and tight deadlines.
  • Monitor pending quotes and ensure consistency in pricing in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Manage and create budgets and timelines based on project specifications.
  • Negotiate for additional resources and funding for deliverables outside the original project scope.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Influence client decisions by sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Provide detailed guidance to assigned project resources regularly and often act as a functional supervisor.
  • Make informed decisions regarding project-specific matters, including budgets, resource planning, scheduling, and conflict resolution.
  • Offer advice to project leads and engineering teams on addressing complex issues raised by subcontractors and vendors.
  • Maintain individual utilization targets as outlined in the annual budget.
  • Exhibit expert-level analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of comprehensive project management experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and outside of standard business hours as necessary.
  • Recognized as a qualified Senior-level professional consultant with extensive knowledge of manufacturing IT systems and industry standards.
  • Possess at least one of the following degrees: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
