Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer

The Fountain Group is seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a prominent opportunity for a seasoned professional to work on a variety of challenging projects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop rugged military electrical systems and subsystems for ground, shipboard, and airborne applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design, analysis, and simulation, as well as experience with military electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and subsystems for military applications
  • Perform system and circuit analysis on power schemes and digital and analog interfaces
  • Utilize simulation tools such as SPICE and power conversion simulation programs like SIMPLIS or SABER to model design performance
  • Work within cross-functional teams to develop design architecture at the sub-system and system level
  • Lead small design teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Develop, review, and approve white papers and participate in proposal development and technical writing
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years' experience (or 7 years with a Master's) required
  • Experience with design, analysis, and/or test experience with military electronic systems required
  • Experience with simulation tools required
  • Experience with MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STF-461 required; MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-1553 and/or MIL-STD-1760 preferred
