Principal Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN.

As a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer, you will lead a team of talented engineers in designing, analyzing, simulating, testing, and integrating digital electronic modules, FPGAs, and/or CCAs for various DoD applications.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in all aspects of circuit card, FPGA, and embedded design, with a strong background in system-on-chip (SoC) full stack development, digital and mixed signal design, configurable logic (FPGA/firmware) design, RF design, and power electronics design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-disciplined team in designing and developing complex electronic systems
  • Apply engineering tools and processes to provide solutions to technical problems of moderate to difficult scope and complexity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of engineering design experience with a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree
  • Proficiency in embedded full stack development, including C, Assembly coding, OOP, Driver development, Bare Metal, and RTOS development
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning Model HW development and deployment, including model optimization, client learning frameworks, and parallel processing architectures
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in full-stack development using Xilinx and/or Microchip FPGAs and SoCs
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in advanced FW and FPGA simulation, languages, and emulation techniques
