Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Technology Analyst to join our Chick-fil-A Tax Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining our various technology systems used within the Tax Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of complex sales tax concepts and apply knowledge to develop and maintain tax systems and data flow.
  • Collaborate with Sales Tax Research and Compliance teams to ensure tax systems reflect current regulatory requirements and audit results.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the tax department's technology and information needs to facilitate the creation and maintenance of tax systems necessary to support the business, while meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains, and application of tax process and technology best practices using new and existing technologies.
  • Develop and maintain tax department reporting dashboards and data flows.
  • Work closely with the Digital Transformation Team to prototype, develop, regression test, and implement tax technology solutions.
  • Serve as a technology resource to colleagues in the Tax Department.
  • Serve on cross-functional teams with internal and external partners for strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tableau, Alteryx, or other BI tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in collecting and analyzing complex data sets
  • Ability to interpret data and summarize data
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience
  • Masters Degree in Accounting or Tax, Masters Information Systems Degree, or CPA Certification
  • Experience with OneSource Sales and Use Tax Compliance software
  • CPA or CPA eligible
