Our Security Operations Managers play a crucial role in achieving our mission of delivering top-tier security and safety services. They are tasked with the daily oversight and management of assigned client accounts, ensuring that our security personnel deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team to make a significant impact in security operations.
  • Guarantee that services meet client expectations and contractual obligations through effective management, training, and mentorship of security staff.
  • Oversee operational functions such as scheduling, overtime management, and the review of daily logs and incident reports.
  • Evaluate and enhance staff performance through supervision, performance assessments, and training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records for all personnel.
  • Provide recommendations regarding personnel actions for team members under direct supervision.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and operational issues.
  • Implement and coordinate established emergency response protocols.
  • Ensure 24/7 availability for the assigned client accounts.
  • Manage the Business Continuity Program in collaboration with various teams to support business continuity needs.
  • Oversee compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations into incidents as necessary.
  • Prepare reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities as required.
  • Compile and submit weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly management reports.
  • Facilitate required training sessions as per contractual obligations, including CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
  • Assist in the maintenance and procurement of uniforms and equipment.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with law enforcement agencies.
  • Note that responsibilities may vary based on the assigned client location.
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Possession of state or municipality mandated security officer licenses.
  • Preferred qualifications include:
    • Advanced educational degrees.
    • Degrees in Criminal Justice or related fields.
    • 3-5 years of experience in civilian law enforcement, corporate security, or military service with honorable discharge.
  • Must hold a security guard license or be able to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities with a focus on prioritization and problem-solving.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with computerized scheduling systems is advantageous.
Compensation

The Ladders offers a competitive salary package, including health and welfare benefits, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, and a 401K Savings Plan. This position is full-time and classified as salaried and exempt.
