Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Director to join our team at UMOS. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as developing and implementing quality improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans to ensure compliance with Head Start regulations
  • Conduct regular monitoring and reporting functions to ensure program compliance
  • Provide leadership and oversight in ongoing monitoring systems to ensure compliance and quality services
  • Coordinate and oversee desk audits to ensure accurate data and perform mock reviews with staff and providers
  • Develop and implement requirements pertaining to compliance with Head Start regulations, including the annual Self-Assessment process
  • Ensure the Program Information Report (PIR) is completed accurately and timely submitted to the Office of Head Start
  • Develop and implement electronic tracking systems and methods for program monitoring and reporting
  • Lead the continuous quality improvement (CQI) process and program evaluation through monthly data collection, analysis, audit, and reporting
  • Communicate performance improvement priorities and results using narrative and data visualization methods
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Public Health Administration, Social Work, or related field
  • Five years' experience in program monitoring, evaluation, training, and/or supervision/management staff
  • Basic computer skills and good oral and written communications skills
  • Reliable automotive transportation, a valid driver's license, and appropriate automotive liability insurance
