Job Summary

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group at AllianceBernstein is a dynamic team of professionals who play a critical role in supporting the company's financial management function. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Financial Planning to lead our Corporate Financial Forecasting process and provide financial analysis for our various Corporate, Distribution and Investment Groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial forecasts and budgets for the company's various business units.
  • Lead the preparation of the company's Annual and Strategic Plans, including financial projections and analysis.
  • Manage the preparation and review of monthly profitability reports, including revenue and expense forecasting.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial information.
  • Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals to ensure their development and success.
Requirements
  • Seven to ten years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting or Finance position.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Economics; MBA preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis software, including Microsoft Office and IBM Planning Analytics.
