Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Ethicist and Educator to join our team at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in ethics consultation, educational efforts, policy recommendations, and research activities under the direction of the Executive Director of the Section of Integrated Ethics in Cancer Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on ethical issues related to patient care and research.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals and other staff on ethics and related topics.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to ethics and research.
  • Participate in research activities related to ethics and cancer care.
Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree in ethics or a related field.
  • Experience conducting ethics consultations and hold the HEC-C credential or have willingness to achieve the credential within 1 year.
Additional Information:
  • This is a regular exempt position not eligible for overtime pay.
  • Work location is onsite.
