We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our nursing staff, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic nursing care to in-patients and out-patients as needed, within your specified area.
- Collect and report information to the supervising RN and complete all patient care-related documentation.
- Assist nursing staff with clerical support to facilitate patient care.
- Completion of a CNA program, or completion of the first semester of a nursing program, or EMT program completion.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Experience with basic data entry.
- Satisfactory completion of a medical terminology course, or knowledge of medical terminology.
- 1 year of acute patient care experience, or 6 months experience in a direct patient care environment providing clerical or patient support related to Provider, patient documentation or charting.
