We are seeking a skilled Composite Technician to join our team at SEKISUI Aerospace. As a Composite Technician, you will be responsible for producing and developing composite materials to enhance quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare composite components for assembly.
- Manufacture composite components using layup and bladder molding practices.
- Perform repairs on composite components.
- Arrange molds and tooling for composite production.
- Inspect and test composite components for defects.
- Maintain and troubleshoot composite assembly equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of composite and assembly activities.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for composite and assembly.
- Prepare molds and dies.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, shop aids, and written instructions with limited supervision.
- Ability to understand and adhere to all safety and quality policies.
- Experience in composite manufacturing or related fields preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical dexterity and ability to work with complex parts.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Preferred Experience: 1 to 3 years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
