About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Intake Coordinator to join our team at Center for Family Life in Sunset Park. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in providing direct services who wants to develop their leadership skills.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in social work or a related field, with at least 1 year of experience working with immigrant families and accessing community resources. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.

As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing referrals and intakes for our preventive services program, collaborating with a Spanish-speaking Co-Intake Coordinator. You will also coordinate outreach presentations and workshops for ACS and community partners, cultivate partnerships within the organization and with community partners and schools, and participate in community events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage referral and intake process for preventive services program
  • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with community partners and schools
  • Participate in community events to introduce Family Support Program
  • Coordinate with ACS referral team to screen referrals and conduct joint home visits
  • Engage clients using therapeutic, trauma-informed approach during intake process
