We are currently in search of a Practical Nursing Specialist to join our dedicated team.
Position Overview:
This role involves delivering professional nursing services to patients at Apicha Community Health Center, in accordance with established clinical protocols and practices.

The primary objective of this position is to administer nursing care to individuals across all ages, genders, cultures, and backgrounds; offer both physical and emotional support to patients and their families; foster an inclusive environment for LGBTQ patients; and provide guidance and support to clinical team members.

As an integral part of the healthcare team, you will engage in the planning and enhancement of the Nursing Department while collaborating closely with medical practitioners and other members of the multidisciplinary team to manage care for a diverse patient population.


Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a High School diploma or GED and have graduated from an accredited nursing program, holding a current Licensed Practical Nurse License in New York State.

A minimum of one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting is essential. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
