Physician Practice Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized healthcare provider.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized healthcare provider.
- Works in an office environment and patient care areas, requiring frequent walking, standing, bending, pushing, and lifting.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- Wears PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
Requirements:
- Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Current New York State Practical Nurse License or Permit.
- Basic Skills Certifications (CPR).
Benefits:
- Positions of 24 scheduled hours or more are eligible for benefits.
- Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500.
- Early-career candidates may qualify for up to $12,500 in tuition forgiveness.
Work Environment:
Offices are located throughout the Greater Binghamton Area. Departments are generally open 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem options available.
UHS Walk-In positions available:
Open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, from 8am-8pm. Weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts rotate based on clinic needs.
