Speech Language Pathologist

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized speech and language services to students in multiple school districts across Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or a similar program, and hold national and state certifications, including the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate.
Responsibilities:- Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
- Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
- Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
- Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
- Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
- National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services.
- Must be able to obtain, and hold, a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Certs: (AHA) BLS required.
- Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check & Drug Screen).
- Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
