We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Plumbing Estimator to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for managing and organizing bid documentation, performing detailed take-offs and unit cost estimates, and maintaining accurate records of working documents and data.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, organize, and communicate bid documentation for assigned bids.
- Read, understand, and assign cost to all bid-related documents, including drawings, specifications, and instructions to bidders.
- Perform detailed take-offs and unit cost estimates.
- Perform pricing breakouts as required by customers.
- Request, obtain, and evaluate vendor pricing.
- Electronically maintain records of all working documents and data to back up estimates.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven successful experience preparing estimates for commercial plumbing projects.
- Active Union members may apply and will be considered equally to Non-Union applicants for this estimating position.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and specifically Excel.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work and produce a deliverable to a deadline.
