Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious individual to assist pedestrians in crossing the street as they go to and from school. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and direct students crossing streets to provide a safe environment for students to walk to school.
  • Direct traffic as needed to maintain a safe flow of cars and buses into the schools.
  • Work with the Police School Resource Officer on safety procedures or problems.
  • Identify and suggest improvements in procedures for students who walk to school and cross the street.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor with students and drivers.
  • Comfortable working in a wide range of weather conditions.
  • Completion of a background check.
Working Conditions

This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
