Role for Experienced and New Graduates:

We are in search of a Radiation Therapist to contribute to our Outpatient Radiation Oncology Clinic, playing a crucial role in administering high-quality radiation therapy treatments. You will utilize cutting-edge technology to ensure optimal patient care.

This role involves executing a prescribed radiation therapy regimen as per departmental policies, procedures, and professional standards. You will conduct necessary assessments and develop care plans tailored to our patient demographic.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:
$40.08 to $64.13 hourly wage based on experience and education

Retention Incentive:
$20,000 Retention Bonus

up to $7,500

Key Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with referring providers' orders. Exercise independent judgment and apply established methodologies according to policy and procedures.
Educate patients and families about procedures and treatments. Maintain professionalism in all interactions, promoting teamwork and quality patient outcomes.
Operate treatment and planning equipment, ensuring adherence to departmental policies. Prepare and document treatments accurately.
Demonstrate proficiency in performing prescribed procedures and maintain equipment performance through quality control measures. Ensure a safe environment for all individuals.
Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards related to radiation oncology practice, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Ensure efficient workflow within the department, adhering to established policies and regulatory requirements.

Deliver exceptional service to all clients of Foundation Health by consistently embodying our core values and professional behaviors.


Qualifications:


Candidates must possess a solid foundation in clinical care, typically acquired through an Associate degree in radiation oncology or a related field.

National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and relevant state licensure are required. BLS certification is mandatory.
Proficiency in clinical techniques, applications, and equipment is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with a commitment to safety.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in radiation therapy is preferred.
