We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Facilitator to enhance our Agile Scrum Software Development practices across various projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in improving the organization’s proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFE, while providing hands-on support to project teams in establishing effective development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and support an Agile "Center of Excellence" within Systems Development.
- Coach and mentor Scrum Teams in Agile practices and standard program methodologies.
- Collaborate with Scrum Teams to develop, prioritize, and refine project backlogs.
- Deliver senior leadership for the implementation of the enterprise Agile program.
- Provide Agile metrics reporting, including Burndown and Team Velocity, and offer recommendations for Agile project maturity.
- Assist in updating Agile processes, policies, and standards.
- Identify potentially shippable increments and support project planning activities.
- Prepare communications for IT management regarding project status.
- Guide Scrum Teams on Agile processes, deliverables, and overall project visibility.
- Audit team artifacts and Agile documentation for continuous improvement.
- Support multiple Scrum Teams simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 8 years of professional experience as a Scrum Master, with a valid Scrum Master Certification (CSM).
- Expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Proven experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams and Scrum Masters.
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to manage effective meetings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with tools such as Junit, Jenkins, Sonar, AppScan, and ServiceNow is desirable. Candidates with a diverse background in project management and Agile delivery are encouraged to apply.
