Software Engineer III

We're seeking a highly motivated and passionate Software Engineer III to join our team at Foundry LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Passion for software development and a desire to grow as a software engineer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with and passion for bitcoin, bitcoin pools, wallets, nodes, and/or the crypto industry.
  • Familiarity with domain-specific knowledge such as financial systems, healthcare regulations, e-commerce platforms.
  • Proficiency with development tools, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
  • Proficient in AWS cloud concepts, including deployment to cloud and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies.
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects or personal GitHub repositories.
  • Prior experience working in a startup environment.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$150,000. This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
