Body Shop Technician / Painter Opportunity at Pape' Kenworth

We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician / Painter to join our team at Pape' Kenworth in Sacramento, CA. As a Journeyman Level technician, you will be responsible for performing body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6-8 trucks, including pre/post repair washes, bodywork, replacement of parts, installs on new trucks, and other minor repairs as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform body work on medium and heavy-duty trucks, including body repairs, painting, and finishing.
  • Conduct pre/post repair washes and inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Replace parts and install new components as needed.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in body shop repair and painting.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations.
