Body Shop Technician / Painter

Pape' Kenworth, a leading medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician / Painter to join their team.


As a Body Shop Technician / Painter, you will be responsible for painting and performing body work on medium and heavy-duty class 6 & 8 trucks, including fiberglass, plastic, finish matching, painting, mixing, tinting, and blending.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Paint and perform body work on medium and heavy-duty trucks
  • Work with a team of trained technicians in a well-equipped body shop
  • Meet quality and productivity standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:


  • 2 or more years of experience in body and refinishing
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Driver's license with a good driving record; CDL is preferred
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations
  • Axalta certification is a plus
