Role Overview:

The Quality Engineering division is integral to refining engineering and manufacturing processes across multiple locations to align with VISHAY's quality benchmarks and protocols. This division enhances value through:

  • Implementing robust quality assurance procedures for incoming materials, ongoing processes, and laboratory-related quality control assessments.
  • Overseeing the resolution of complaints regarding identified discrepancies and executing thorough root cause investigations.
  • Conducting on-site evaluations of production quality, ensuring immediate corrective measures are taken when necessary.
  • Assessing and reporting on the quality performance of production processes while recommending enhancements.
  • Engaging in quality discussions with Production and/or Plant Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the establishment of management systems and infrastructure by effectively utilizing available resources.
  • Manages activities such as the commissioning, setup, and calibration of intricate machinery or the testing and configuration of technical infrastructures, including applications and IT systems.
  • Implements protocols, organizes team efforts efficiently based on designated work packages.
  • Leverages technology, proposes capital investments, and modifies processes as required.
  • Evaluates outcomes of work and collaborates with management or project leaders on subsequent actions.
  • Maintains stakeholder relationships throughout the value chain and with external market partners.
