We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Unit Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides advice and support to residents and their families
- Monitors residents and administers medication and treatments
- Documents resident care services by charting in resident and department records
- Protects residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
- Resolves resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
- Assures quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care
- Supervises LPNs and nursing assistants
- Maintains resident confidence by keeping information confidential
Requirements:
- Valid New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in LTC settings
