Role Responsibilities

The Customer Support Representative serves as the primary contact for all inquiries related to life-safety systems. This role involves assessing customer and partner needs to provide effective solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver exceptional support. Enthusiasm and effective representation of the Status Solutions brand are essential in every interaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely responses.
  • Maintaining optimal workstation and Local Area Network (LAN) performance.
  • Escalating customer needs to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Promptly addressing Network Operations Center (NOC) errors.
  • Fostering open communication and collaboration within the team to enhance customer and business support.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years in Customer Service; experience in a Call Center is preferred.
  • Preferred certifications: Network+ and A+.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proactive behavior in previous roles.
  • Ability to effectively utilize resources as business tools.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to internal systems, including:
    • Remote Access tools (e.g., Beyond Trust, TeamViewer)
    • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems (Centos, Ubuntu)
    • Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., ports, firewalls, DHCP vs. Static IP)
    • Familiarity with command line interfaces (Command Prompt, Linux Terminal, PowerShell)
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Commitment to fostering an environment that supports the growth of Status Solutions and its network.
  • Ability to identify and channel potential leads to the Sales & SSN team.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting annual salary range: $37,000 - $49,000, commensurate with experience.
