Job Title: General Superintendent - Roofing

Job Summary:

The General Superintendent - Roofing is responsible for overseeing the completion of roofing projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and direct field activities, including supervising personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control project costs, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the construction/roofing industry.
  • 30-hour OSHA Training Certification required.
  • Familiarity with construction/OSHA related laws and regulations.
  • Basic understanding of related computer applications.
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, contract specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and salesmanship skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and oversee multiple projects.

Working Conditions:

The General Superintendent - Roofing will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent travel to job sites. The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
