Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Class A and B CDL driver to join our team at The H&K Group. As a Tri-Axle CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in our operations, requiring reliability, attentiveness, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Drive truck to destination
  • Prepare receipts for load pick up
  • Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
  • Load and unload truck
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies
  • Perform daily pre and post trip of vehicle
  • Tarp all loads when public roadway travel is necessary
  • Trim all loads prior to tarping when necessary
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience or Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Customer Service and Teamwork
  • Strong Verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • Strong preference for 3 years of triaxle driving experience
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
  • TWIC card preferred with CDL class A
  • Manual transmission experience
  • Experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries
  • MSHA, OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
Work Environment

Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, frequently exposed to vibration, and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Noise level is usually loud.
