We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to join our team at Mindlance. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for working with Product Owners to capture critical logs for apps and infrastructure, ensuring that the correct content is getting into Splunk and partnering with cybersecurity partners to create additional security measures based on logs.
Key Responsibilities- Work with Product Owners to onboard applications and logs into Splunk, ensuring accurate and timely ingestion.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Splunk fundamentals, including searches, queries, indexes, and event reading.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity partners to leverage log data and create additional security measures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security events and logs, including Azure and GCP onboarding experience.
- Utilize reporting and PowerBI tools to analyze and present log data to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain scripting languages, primarily Python, to automate log processing and analysis.
- Must have experience with Splunk, including searches, queries, indexes, and event reading.
- Must have experience with information security, including applications, infrastructure servers, and security configurations.
- Must have experience with cloud onboarding, including Azure and GCP.
- Must have experience with reporting and PowerBI tools.
- Must have experience with scripting languages, primarily Python.
