Job Summary

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Coordinator to join their team in Oakland. As a key member of the pediatric primary care office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and coordinating services to ensure seamless transitions throughout the care process.


Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  2. Assist providers with obtaining prior authorization for treatment and complete required documentation for CYF cases.
  3. Triage patient calls and messages, and coordinate follow-up appointments as needed.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania or multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
  • CPR certification and UPMC approved national certification preferred.

Estimated Salary

$63,000 - $83,000 per year, depending on experience.
