Key ResponsibilitiesAs a 5G RF Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with a team to devise solutions that address intricate and demanding challenges across various sectors. This role encompasses cross-layer RF system design and enhancement, modeling, and performance evaluation at the RF digital interface. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the 3GPP/FCC specifications pertaining to LTE and NR air interfaces.
QualificationsWhat you will contribute to Virewirx:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in wireless systems design and engineering, OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth understanding of wireless communication systems.
- Recent and direct experience with the 3GPP 4G/5G RAN 4.
- Background in LTE/NR product development or standardization.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, MATLAB, or scripting languages for algorithm creation, assessment, and product development.
- Experience in troubleshooting RF systems, including receiver and transmitter power.
- Familiarity with IQ log capture post-processing in MATLAB.
- Knowledge of PLLs, RF noise figure, transmit linearity, and distortion.
It’s advantageous if you have:
- Experience participating in or contributing to 3GPP RAN working groups, particularly with RAN 4.
