Host Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host to join our team at Atlas Restaurant Group. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to all guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations, seating, and table assignments with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, using scripted responses to ensure consistency.
  • Record reservations and other important information into our reservation system.
  • Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure seamless service and a smooth dining experience.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a host or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and warmly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation service programs.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
