About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Audit Specialist to join our team at The Goldman Sachs Group. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and complete scoping and planning of reviews to assess the reliability of financial reports and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Analyze the design of controls around the underlying system architecture and evaluate the effectiveness of technology controls.
  • Document the results of test steps executed within the IA automated document project repository.
  • Successfully vet audit observations and track, monitor, and record remediation of risks identified in reviews.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of system architecture, databases, operating systems, and messaging.
  • Experience with cloud architecture and security controls, as well as prior experience of testing automated IT application controls.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across a large global audit team.
  • Ability to multitask while managing both time and workload, with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with experience working with and auditing cloud technologies, as well as a recognized cloud security certification (CCSP, CCSK, AWS certifications, etc.).
