Detailed Duties:
  • Evaluate daily activities and their effects on departmental performance.
  • Recognize employee strengths and areas for improvement, providing necessary training and support.
  • Assess team performance and recommend training, development, and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Assist staff in problem-solving and motivate them towards achieving company objectives.
  • Engage in regular meetings with management and fellow supervisors to address departmental matters.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees.
  • Handle administrative tasks efficiently, including phone communications, paperwork, scheduling, and attending meetings.
  • Ensure that employees are well-informed about job expectations and company policies.
  • Adjust production processes to align with standards and customer specifications.
  • Uphold all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare reports on production metrics, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other supervisors to maintain departmental cohesion.
  • Plan staff schedules and estimate labor requirements for daily tasks.
  • Review and validate staff time records, clarifying any discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP, GSP, and quality control policies.
  • Provide input for budget planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with management to establish and communicate company policies and objectives.
  • Implement quality assurance initiatives to mitigate defects in products.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams on equipment and departmental upkeep.
  • Support departmental efficiency by assisting with tasks as needed.
  • Review technical issues and propose solutions.
  • Inspect the workspace and equipment to maintain cleanliness and order.
  • Foster a safe and positive work environment by addressing employee concerns.
  • Be open to travel and flexible work hours as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
Shift: 3rd shift: 3x12 and 4x12 shifts with variable start times.

Compensation: $70,000 per year.
