RN Transition Fellow Emergency Department Specialist

Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a leading provider of compassionate, high-quality, and affordable patient-centered care. We are part of a 21-state network of nearly 9000 physicians, 62000 employees, and more than 400 care centers. The Transition RN Fellowship at Northridge Hospital Medical Center prepares and supports experienced nurses as they enter into a specialty unit. To be eligible for this program, candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience. Positions are limited, and early application is encouraged. The application period is open, and candidates must submit the following items: a current resume, specialty/unit preference and shift, letter of intent, and signed licensure vacation and employment statement. The RN Transition Fellowship program is designed to support experienced nurses in transitioning to a specialty unit. The program includes a comprehensive training program, mentorship, and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care nursing and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. The RN Transition Fellow will work closely with the nursing team to provide exceptional patient care and support the transition to the specialty unit. The RN Transition Fellow will also participate in ongoing education and training to enhance their skills and knowledge. The RN Transition Fellow will be expected to work collaboratively with the nursing team to achieve the goals of the program. The RN Transition Fellow will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting to the program manager. The RN Transition Fellow will be expected to adhere to the policies and procedures of Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center. The RN Transition Fellow will also be expected to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. The RN Transition Fellow will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. The RN Transition Fellow will also be expected to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the transition to the specialty unit. The RN Transition Fellow will be expected to work collaboratively with the nursing team to achieve the goals of the program.
