Position Overview: The Frozen Goods Selector plays a crucial role in the logistics of our frozen inventory, ensuring that all frozen products are efficiently packed, retrieved, and accounted for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receiving and inventory of incoming frozen products.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to the established release schedule.
  • Organize, rotate, and verify existing inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Uphold a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and handheld scanning devices effectively.
  • Safely operate manual and powered pallet jacks, as well as forklifts.
  • Employ reach trucks to retrieve and replenish products as necessary.
  • Report any product damage, low inventory levels, or discrepancies in counts to management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience operating ride-on pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • At least 3 years of experience with rider reach equipment.
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with racking systems and maximizing storage efficiency.
  • Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods.
  • Detail-oriented with strong label reading and documentation skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work up to 10 hours per day, primarily standing or walking.
  • Proficient in hand use, including grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing/pulling.
  • Ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning agents.
  • Comfortable working in both wet and dry conditions.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts as needed.
  • Proficient in using tools and equipment, including knives.
