Our Corps of Cadets is comprised of up to 1000 young men and women who are dedicated to achieving their full potential.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Athletic Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services to our junior college and high school athletes, as well as teaching Athletic Training and/or HPER courses. This is an exempt, 10-month, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $50,000.00 to $56,000.00 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training services to junior college and high school athletes, including injury evaluation and treatment, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Teach Athletic Training and/or HPER courses, including developing and implementing lesson plans, and assessing student learning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical, attendance, scholastic, and student records, and submit them in accordance with published deadlines.
  • Participate in staff development and professional growth programs, and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or a related field, and a plan to obtain a Master's Degree within 5 years of hire.
  • Proof of Board of Certification, Athletic Training Certification.
  • Proof of or eligibility to obtain NM Athletic Training Licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or an HPER-related field.
  • Previous athletic training experience.
  • Ability to teach a variety of HPER courses.
