The Environmental Services Aide is a vital member of our team at Catholic Health Service, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform hospital-wide cleaning duties, adhering to established policies and procedures, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Deep Cleaning Projects: Participate in deep cleaning projects as assigned, including vacuuming offices, lobby entrances, and miscellaneous areas.
- Supply Management: Replenish supplies, clean offices, change cubicle curtains, and clean up spills promptly.
- Floor Maintenance: Perform floor maintenance and other related duties as assigned or required.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically able to push, bend, lift, and move heavy furniture and equipment.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to clean entire patient rooms, including bathrooms, and perform deep cleaning projects.
Catholic Health Service offers a competitive salary range of $25.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including generous tuition assistance, a defined benefit pension plan, and a culture that supports professional and educational growth.
