Apprentice Pastry Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Apprentice Baker to join our team at Giant Eagle. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of products, including bread, pastries, and desserts.

• Product Preparation: Prepare ingredients and mix dough according to established recipes and procedures.
• Baking: Bake products to specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Quality Control: Monitor and maintain product quality, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production and meet customer demands.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.

• Experience: 0-6 months of experience in a bakery or related industry.
• Education: No high school diploma required.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Age: At least 18 years of age.
