Job Title: Safety Engineer

Consolidated Employer Services Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and education to employees and subcontractors on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the project.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as safety, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction safety, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • OSHA certification and knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with safety management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
