Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, utilizing specialized modalities and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the occupational therapist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current Missouri license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or license eligible.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Missouri Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA) preferred.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of patients. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team setting and communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
