At K.A. Recruiting, we're seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals. This is a permanent opportunity at a state-of-the-art, non-profit, short-term acute care facility located 1 hour east of Columbus.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Evaluate exams for diagnostic quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating nuclear medicine and related medical equipment to complete a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Producing acceptable images by determining proper technical factors based on individual patients and/or procedures.
  • Ordering, preparing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals according to accepted practices.
  • Effectively using computer systems (such as HIS, RIS, PACS) to process, access, and distribute appropriate department and patient procedure information.
  • Performing other functions as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) in nuclear medicine.
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Competence in diagnostic & therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures performed at this facility.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of computer software related to electronic imaging and clinical information management.
  • CPR Certified.
