Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and protocols to promote patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence within the surgical services team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 9 months of RN experience, with a focus on perioperative care.
  • 1 year of experience circulating in an inpatient or ambulatory OR setting, or completion of a preceptorship program from an accredited school.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN license in the state where care is provided.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous healthcare experience, with a focus on surgical services.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • 2 years of OR circulating and scrubbing experience.
  • CNOR and ACLS certifications.
