RN - OR / Circulating (KSMC / 40 Hr / Days)

As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Under the guidance of our experienced team, you will utilize your clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat human responses to actual or potential health problems.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment: Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education needs, and discharge planning needs.
- Planning: Develop an individual nursing plan of care, sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient, and coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other hospital and clinic departments and community agencies.
- Implementation: Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for the management of the medical and/or surgical patient, and accurately document in the electronic medical record.
- Evaluation: Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patient response to treatment, and participate in unit quality assurance activities.
- Minimum 9 months of RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience circulating in an inpatient or ambulatory O.R. setting
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- Previous health care experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Two (2) years O.R. circulating and scrubbing
